Yes, Ashley’s Hope to Dream program does help children in families leaving shelters or transitioning from homelessness. It gives eligible kids (ages 3–16) a free twin bed, mattress, frame, bedding, and pillow no cost to the family. Kids must be nominated by someone like a shelter case worker, social worker, or church leader. If your family just came out of a shelter, that qualifies you to be nominated. Once submitted, it goes through a review, and you’ll be contacted if chosen.
