How much longer after inspection?

I seen the apartment on 5/8 and signed and submitted the paperwork on 5/19. I finally had my inspection on 6/25 and today(6/30) I was told the apartment passed inspection and it’s now pending validation once the HAP is issued. I was told once the HAP is issued I can sign the lease and move in. How much longer after the inspection does it take to move in ? I’ve been waiting for 2 months

Once HAP drops, it’s usually 3 to 10 business days. You’re basically in the “waiting for someone to hit send” phase now. Almost there.

I moved in a week after inspection. Contact your caseworker. I also had the place lined up before I ever did my initial paperwork.

The slowness of hud is why landlords don't want to participate in section 8. You saw the apartment on May 8th and you posted on July 1st..... I think this means for 7 weeks the apartment has been vacant and the landlord's not been making any money from the landlord's point of view that is ridiculous, therefore the tendency of landlords to not mess with the government agency
