How does the rent adjustment process work?

I work in a call center and the work is contract based calls are becoming less and less frequent and I feel I will have to report a loss of income eventually. How does it work? Will they ask for my paystubs or my bank account. Maybe both?

I would call your housing authority representative and ask for a change of income form. I am in MA and when I have an income change increase or decrease I send them a couple of recent paystubs and recent bank statement. They make the necessary changes and notify me and I sign the new agreement and send it back.
